With so many great assignments booked this year we decided to pick up a couple new tools. First, a compact camera with lots of options and control for when we want to pack light. And second, a super bright and fast wide angle lens for all those low light situations.

I had a little fun today with the new gear. The shot of the Canon G9 was captured with the new 35mm lens on a 5D and the new lens was shot with the G9.

Man, I can’t wait to use these new bad boys in China!

Last week I was hanging with our puppy Hugo in our yard. I thought the light was great so I grabbed a few images and thought I would share them. At 9.5 months hugo may only be 4.5 pounds but what he lacks in size, he makes up with in character. He has brought so much joy to Laura & I as well as our entire family.

I’m sorry for not making any posts for the past 6 months. Things have been really busy here at Visual Cravings with lots of exciting things in the works. We are now full swing into our 2008 wedding photography season with so many great couples this year planning what sound to be beautiful weddings! Our portrait session calendar is also booking up quickly so if you’re interested in capturing some fun, candid family photos this summer give us a call soon.
